Yes there are bad dealers but there are more good than bad. Often the greatest issues is to get well trained mechanic's and sales people who stay at a dealer for years vs months. Too many here go to school to do other things and do not want to be trained in how to repair todays cars. Many just want a clean office and a desk job. the real Jobs here in the future will be skilled jobs as there is a great need for people who can make or repair many things.

The cost of repairing a car has gone up a lot here. People so often just want to pay for the expensive parts but they fail to understand mechanics do mot make a lot of money on the parts nor on just labor. The tool that are needed can cost a lot of money. My friends small repair shop spent $30,000 just for the computer programing to keep up to work on todays cars computers.

He makes a good living but is not rich my anymeans.

As for dealer sales people. Salesmen are salesmen. Good and bad. Many people go to dealers to buy a car unprepared and get a bad deal. In cases like this I Blaime the buyer. No one held a gun on them to make the bad deal. If you do your homework you can get a pretty good deal and shop around.

When I bought my SS I shopped around on the internet. I even bought the car I wanted my SS at the price I wanted using E mail from work. I got a better deal than many other do because I learned what a good price was and shopped it around.

Americans can be so smart in some areas and lack so much common sense anymore. Most people become victims because they let it happen.

My dealer is great and because of that I have purchased another Chevy and will buy a third next year.

It is a good thing many Americans do not travel outside the country as they would get taken by many world wide with the way you have to barter in many counties. Too many here see a price and just pay it. Other places everything is negotsiable.

With the slow economy I see them getting smarter and learning to shop again. We here used to be that way but got fat and lazy over the years. As money gets tight people tend to get smarter.

We have had it easy here for a long time. I suspect we will have to work a little harder with the way the world economy is linked anymore.
America - a great country. Americans - a great nation. I say this without irony and exaggeration. I know a little bit about you.
And I know what your community deserves better. I sincerely wish you that.

Thanks. For the most we have a great country and a lot of really good people. But like everyone else we have our own problems and some bad people mixed in. The good part is the good has been able to keep the bad under control. I worry that it may change at some point.

With each generation it seems like we are getting more lazy and weaker people. Before everyone fended for them selves and now many want the goverment to solve all their self inflicted problems.

Where I work they pay really well and treat us very very good compared to many companies. But yet we have issue on being able to hire people that can pass a drug test or will even show up on time let alone every day.

I have seen the change from the old people when I was young to the young people today. While a few things improved too many other problems have happened.

Seems like we take two steps forward and one back. But I think this is seen in many countries anymore.

than a quiet life, so lazy people.
Look at stray dogs. They are fighting is the survival of every day. This causes them to be quick, smart, tough. Disease, disinfectants, natural anomalies can not exterminate them. They are strikingly different from purebred pets.
And human society. The laws of nature no one canceled.
The more protected the individual, the less the general public. A good life for each individual - the decline of society as a whole.
And vice versa. When everyone is fighting for survival, actively competes with all around the world - he has serious problems every day. His life is hard and bleak. But society in general hard and viable. He was not afraid of disease, war and revolution.
Where is the truth? Where the happy haven? Knows no one. Only God in the know.
