Look whats on ebay

I love the paint job. It was on the Hot Rod Power Tour and has less mile than mine, LOL

2008 Chevrolet HHR SS UNIQUE

This is the rare SS version of the popular HHR. However, this one is really unique... GM used this car as a promotional tool on the 2008 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour - a cross country event that travelled from

Little Rock, AR to Madison, WI in June of '08

This car was specially outfitted by GM's Performance Division with a special flame striping package, designed by GM Design, that is unique to this vehicle. Also, during the earlier part of the year, the SS version of the HHR was very difficult to find because very few were built. This is literally the last '08 built.

This car is fully loaded and has only 4700 miles - it also carries the balance of the factory GM Warranty of 5/75K on powertrain and 3/36K on everything else.

Car has the SS package, special seats, turbocharged 2.0 L ecotec 4 cyl. engine ( good on gas) SS wheels, SS front end and side skirting.

Take a look at the pictures and know that the vynil lettering can easily be removed to de-identify GM and replaced with your logos, or nothing at all.

This car grabs attention wherever it goes.

Attention Small Business owners - are you looking for a very distinctive vehicle to promote your business or service?? This might be just the ticket!!

I like that. I think the black over silver looks really good.

What is cool is I think all of the flames and black are just a wrap and if you get tired of it you can remove it or change it.

that real woody is the best woody Retro wagon I've ever seen. Having said that there were spots in the craftsmanship that are a bit rough, not bad, but not spot-on either.
Overall, pretty b!tchen!

Both are pretty cool

Also noticed today on eBay, that someone is parting out a few choice things from a '08 black SS (Think the seller's name/body shop is Schram or something like that)
SS steering wheel/mirrors/complete 2.0 engine /side skirts/ and some other stuff. Dunno what condition the donor car was like (rollover/crunched/recovered or whatever) but might be a good deal for someone wanting/needing some SS parts kinda cheap.

It looks nice but even the real wood is stuck to the outside, now if you cut the doors out and insert the wood.. It would be awsome..

its up to 15 grand now(the black and silver), i would say thats a pretty fair price. if it was going for closer to 10 i would think about bidding on it.
err i just looked at the woody, reminds me of the lampoons wagon, looks too early 80s. +1 for the cool idea of "real" wood though..

The wheels already sold at $1,299.00

Note the mileage is 13 miles. I see they are in Michigan. I wonder if this was some kind of GM car as there are little signs of damage. It may have been bent or broken in transport too.
