Looking to buy HHR SS 5spd
#21
i just bought my ss 1 month ago with the same requirements. I specifically wanted a 2010 SS manual. I had to drive 300 miles to pick mine up. But it was worth it for the price. There arent too many manual HHRs on the road regardless of trim level.

So... I finally was able to test drive a manual transmission HHR SS! Needless to say, I was impressed. The salesperson let me "stretch its legs" so to speak, and I must say the HHR SS 5spd might follow me home in a few months I was shocked that the manual didn't get the same built-in armrest that the autos get... but that is a minor flaw on an impressive car. It felt like driving a much more expensive car, was extremely comfortable, and I couldn't get over how quite the ride was driving down the road and on the freeway... Those seats are just so comfortable! (This coming from a guy driving a cobalt XFE with uncomfortable seats :/)

Welcome to the site!! If you click on my photo link I prob have the package you're looking for if you want to see a pic of it. Its a 2010 SS. I got it from a dealer with the performance pkg 5spd, and the turbo upgrade kit, and it only had 36k miles on it when I got it. The cool thing was the dealer had no idea what the turbo kit was. I spent 6 months looking until I found exactly what I wanted, it was worth the wait. I had to drive from Los Angeles to San Diego to get mine. Like everyone said, this package is rare. I would sell you mine but I dont' think I could find another one for a long time. If you have the patience to find what you want, and are willing to drive a long way if needed to get it, do it you won't regret it.

I drove about 150 miles away to pick up my 5 spd SS. It had everything I was looking for.. Red, red/black interior, 5 spd, and sunroof.
I have had it for close to a year now and it is still fun to fly through the gears. Automatics are boring.

When I want to drive an automatic, I drive my Ford Fusion (boring automatics; Uhh). Can't imagine driving my SS on a back country winding road with an auto. Just can't get connected with the mechanics of the vehicle. Guess it's a different world today. I have a feeling that somehow the iPad is to blame for the lack of "mechancial/physical participation" with our vehicles.
