but i have some questions.

my Sedan had the perfect power level with just GMS1 and a couple of bolt ons so that would be about the only thing id do if i get a HHR/SS, along with an intake and probably a DP.

but how are the rides for just daily driving in the HHR/SS? that was my biggest complaint about my sedan as it rode like a2x4 and drove me nuts.

and anyone else have any input of their HHR/SS's to throw out there, please do so.

Thank you!
Hey Willie_SS. I went from a HHR LT to a HHR SS and the ride is night and day. That FE5 suspension does feel MUCH better. I do have to admit I test drove a few SS, and some felt better than others - the ride on the one I bought was the deciding factor for me.

My LT is my daily driver for right now as I install a new motor in my SS, but when I used the SS as a daily driver for 3 months the ride was great.

First SS I drove was after I owned my LT for a year, and it had the GMS1 upgrade. Definitely is nice, but it's probably in your best interest to find one without it, and get it installed yourself. The old ones required soldering/splicing cables, but they upgraded the kit to be plug and play.

Ok, now i just need to keep an eye out for ones forsale around me. theres only 1 at the moment, private sale.

i had the plug and play GMS1 kit, thats the best way to go.

with 50k on these cars, what should i expect to pay? the one forsale closest to me is going for 8900$ with the GMS1, catted 3" DP and intake. i feel like thats fair, but it has 93k on it.

Depends on the year - but I bought my 2010 with 75k miles for 11k. Body was CLEAN, despite the turbo kicking the bucket at 81k it's in great cosmetic shape. Sometimes you see them between 8-13k.

For me, I wanted black on black, and either a 2009 or 2010. I found the 2010 and jumped on it.

I know with mine it seized up from oil saturation. Upgrading the actuator, diverter valve on the k04, and running a catch can setup to hopefully alleviate that issue.
