MANUAL or AUTO ..UPGRADE VOIDS
My transmission has worked flawlessly since it and the clutch and flywheel were replaced after they blew-up after 50 miles. I was pretty annoyed when I was without my car for two weeks but have been shifting happy since! Manual is the only way to go for me.
This is my first brand new vehicle, well actually my first vehicle with any warranty. I have never before been concerned about modding a car a voiding a warranty, it's all new to me. But say I did the Hahn IC, piping, air intake, BOV, and turboback exhaust, would any of those void any warranty?
Example: You put a lift kit on a truck. An A-frame cracks = not covered. The carrier bearing explodes = not covered. The vehicle developes "launch shudder" on take offs = not covered.
Example: You install a oiled air filter system. Oil gets on the MAF sensor causing CEL. The MAF would not be covered.
Thanks, i did not know about the brakes, brembo brakes comes only with manual trans, i will be going with manual trans now,
no posi with auto, posi can be added with aftermarket kit for $1000.00 and add another $400.00 for the brakes
