"As of right now GM only has a $500 rebate on the 2009 models. If they do what they did last year that will be the rebate on them for a long time. Even on the 2008 models right now there is only a $1000 rebate on them right now and it is the end of the year for them. For some reason they never really did have big rebates on the HHR at all. So for this one we have it is still a good deal for a 2008 model. Let me know what you think." -- This is from the dealership trying to sell me the '08.

Should I get it? Go with an '09? Get a lower price on a '08

I sent a PM. Contact Darrin and see what he can do. You have one deal and if he can beat it good if not it will not cost you anything.

At the time I bought I got over $2000 incentive off from GM in July. The HHR is selling well so GM has held up on better offers.

I repeat PULL THE TRIGGER.

Warning, do not expect to get "11 second" fun out of a 2 liter. However it is the most fun you can have with that limitation.

This is not about to buy a SS or not. This is about getting the best deal avaiable.

He wants one but just does not want to over pay like many do.

He has one deal and it cost nothing to shop around. It is only being smart.
