I have seen listings for moulded splash guards for the HHR from many vendors including GM Parts Direct, but with the unique facias that are equipped with the SS models, I am reluctanct to order them, since they are vague in their applications in this area. I would have to think that the facias may be different between the LT/LS models and the SS'.

Would anyone know if moulded splash guards are available for the SS and where they can be purchased?

None are made or avaiable and and the GM ones will fit with only some minor triming on the front and the rears will bolt up with new holes drilled in the guard.

With so few SS around it is not a very good chance any will ever be made.

Do not be affraid of the factory ones and the effort it takes to install them. I was reluctant at first but after I put them on I felt silly for how easy it was to make them work.

Use a little black silicone between the fender and flap to kind of seal out the stones and dirt. Also this will firm up the mounting even more than the factory mounting. I would do this even on the regular HHR.

I used silicone on my molded guards on my GMC Sonoma. it worked very well and protected the body from them rubbing the paint.

Note the fronts need only a little trimming on lower side of the ground FX. Mostly where it rolls out. It trims with a sharp knife.

Didnt I see your car for sale within the last month?

 

Bought the guards at the Dealer and for $74 dollars they trimmed and installed.

 

I used the factory holes in front but the back were level and dropped the guard a little lower. I liked how they set to I just put in the extra two holes.

I also used the bottom screw hole to male a solid mount. I used a small clamp I fabed up to make it firmly mounted.
