Moving On

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to send a quick farewell to everyone on the boards here.

Last week I sold my SS and purchased my new ride. A 2013 Fiat 500C Abarth. I can't wait to get modding and already have a few parts coming in for it. I'm going to miss the SS for sure, It was my first turbo'd car but when I had purchased it I originally wanted a certain color and manual of course but I was impatient and jumped on the Aqua Blue in Auto. While it was fun to drive I just missed having a manual car. After driving a few of the abarths one popped up for sale nearby so I took the plunge. I love riding with the top down and it's a blast to drive. Very quick and has a go-cart kind of feel.

Looking forward to the modding community over on the Fiat boards and so far I am loving all the parts and mods people are doing with these little cars.

Thanks again to all the HHR Veterans here. I've learned so much about turbos and how the system works so I will defiantly take that knowledge onto my new adventure!

Ahhh darn - we are gonna miss you here. Love that Abarth though. Drop in from time to time to let us know how that Fiat is performing.

And hopefully the new owner of your SS will drop in.

All the best to you lad

Thanks guys and you bet!

So far I've ordered a Sila Ram Air Intake, Some Vent Visors and hope to get the windows tinted here pretty soon.

Tuning on these little cars seems to have a lot more options than the SS did. From Piggyback ECU's, Throttle Boxes and regular ECU tuning. Pretty much any flavor is available from mild to wild. Not to mention the plethora of parts available. I'm not going to go too crazy as I like to try and keep it clean and a streetable but I can't wait to dig in more

Nice Abarth! I haven't been here in ages, so I thought I'd drop by and look at some HHRs. I sold my auto SS a couple years ago and bought a - wait for it - 2013 Abarth C! I miss the cargo room of my bright red SS sometimes, but my black w/red Abarth is loud, hilarious fun. You'll love it!

Your black Depos will have a nice comfy snug home in my HHR, SWEET looking Abarth! very easily and underestimated modding platform. One of those cars that you will never get ridiculous performance numbers out of but will at least be able to ENJOY all that power whenever you wish.
