Joe..I wouldn't be disappointed with your trip the 131 at all. You have to understand that you are trapping 4-5mph faster than your Trifecta tune...The ET is the same because it's still bogging off the line. You need to roll out of the hole by slipping the clutch more. It seems as though you are dropping it too quickly, resulting in a huge bog. A little spin is better than bog!

Or maybe post a link in the above thread.
Take a look at 2005hhrauto,s St slips.
You are about .5 second lower 60 foot.
As I have Always learned in drag racing its always better to find a way to lower your et in the first part of the track
If I remember correctly 2005hhrauto used an old trick of using snow tires for better traction off the line.of course he is leaving the line under boost with the auto as well.
Will do! Yeah, anxious and I need to realize I have a clutch that can support some slipping and launching.

Joe
that car is making some serious power so nothing to be dissapointed about.
Its always an adventure to get a car to run a good et thats why you see a lot of kids running from a roll.It is much tougher to get a car to hook off the line and make power off the line than just go from a roll as you know.
sometimes it actually involves taking some power out at certain points.
Speed is a Drug so ya gotta be happy with these numbers. It never ends believe me.
I know all to well how it is to go to the track and expect more.
Many times on my coupe I have upped the power in the past only to see very close to the same ets since I was overpowering the track and or chassis.
example my coupe with smaller motor would run consistent 10.80's in the quarter.
with 900 cfm total. and I believe it was 6-9 perecent underdriven at that point.
Bumped the carbs cfm up to 1250 cfm total and ran the blower 1:1
Car was an animal on the street.
At the track the chassis just was not there for it.
end result the car ran the same et.
Now with the new motor I built well that is another story.

That trap speed has low 13's high 12's for sure. Def. need some slicks to get those 60 ft's down. Was this using LC and NLS? What PSI were you running your wheels in those runs? Looks like you need to firm up the suspension a bit like you mentioned. For having coilovers your car was lurching quite a bit between shifts.

Either way awesome job, that car is making some strong reliable power. I would focus on a wheel and tire setup and those 60ft's before I would worry about any more power. Car looks mean also. =)

P.S. put the mesh back over the IC, it stands out too much. But thats just my opinion =P

What I don't get is how Cobalt's run mid-low 12s with the same setup. How come they are able to launch so much better than us? There isn't THAT much weight difference is there?
