I raced a Scion TC with every bolt/on and sticker the kid could buy. The only thing was I lost due to fact I am a dumb ???. I left the traction control on. The distance was only 1 car and I have a auto. Rest assured I will not make the same mistake!

 

A Scion TC is slow. You need to beat yourself senseless.

 

I know and have been since it happened. I have had some really fast cars and I can't believe how much the traction control affects it.

 

You are just making him feel good so that when you completely blow his doors off next time it will hurt more.

 

Might want to check for a boat anchor dangleing from your rear bumper too. You should have beat him even with the TC on.

you might wanna try to remember if you left your A/C on...
that never helps when ur trying to go fast.
In my Z28 I lost to a Mustang one time when I had mine on and didn't realize it...

 

I read in one article somewhere that when you use the Launch Control with the Auto to hold the brake (power brake) and get the rpms up to 4100 before you let go of the brake. Haven't tried it though. Has anyone else?
