My HHR SS Moves On
My HHR SS Moves On
Well, we've shuffled cars again. We traded off the '06 Silverado my son was driving because it had 100K miles and he had performed little if any maintenance for over half that, so it needed a lot of work. I am driving a (new to us) 2010 Town and Country, and the SS is now with our son-in-law supporting his business. He recently moved from his one-man shop to a new location with five bays. It was time to move forward for him, and the SS will get shop logos and be his showpiece for the new drivetrain and general repair shop. It always helps to look good in business! As for the son who gave up the silverado, he gets the sin-in-laws old Jeep Grand cherokee Ltd with 250K miles. So we get something to haul all the grandkids (and save with lower payments over the Silverado we were covering), the son-in-law gets a nice vehicle for the shop, and the son gets something he will have trouble killing (and he will save a bunch on insurance). Best for everyone. I will post pics once Sean gets the Shop Stop logos on the SS! Anyone in the Denver and north metro be sure to stop by the new Shop Stop in Longmont and sway hi! Oh, and by the way, we never had a SINGLE problem with our SS!

Thanks, all, I'll be around. Yes, Sean is deserving of the help in his move up in the business world. We're all proud of him and his new shop - very nice place! He is still swamped with business, which is the one headache as an entrepreneur you really want to have. I'll get him to set up an account here. I will surely miss the HHR - best ride to handling ratio I've owned, great performance, and I had just replaced the stock sub with a 10" JL, LOL. Sean will enjoy it, and it will look great around town as a mobile advertising piece (these HHRs make great business vehicles, don't they?). Wish it were a panel, but still not bad for his need.
