here are a few more pictures of my grill mod.


i had to reinforce the center bar with carbon fiber and resin before i remove the bowtie mount.


here is the grill in the in rough stage after the center bar was cleaned up.


now you can see why i needed to reinforce the center bar before any grinding. the only thing holding the bar together is the new carbon fiber and resin. next will be a little body filler, primer and paint. i also need to fabricate the new mesh inserts. stay tuned...

Looks a lot easier than a regular grill. As for the bar in back, works fine without it attached to the center. I did leave it in for overall support.

yeah, the ss grill looks easier to mod than yours. just pealing off that satin chrome would take forever. your panel looks so much better without the bowties. nice work.

here is the grill frame all reworked and ready for paint. but first, i will fabricate the aluminum mesh grill. i will paint the frame after that.

sorry I should have asked earlier do you have the part # for the lift gate part as well.
