Just before I bought my SS, I saw an Aqua Blue SS in a Lowe's parking lot. Though I had been looking into SSes online for a couple of weeks before that, it was that particular car that sold me on them, and I decided right there that I had to have one. I was originally going to try to find an Aqua Blue SS, but once I saw the black and red interior on a Victory Red my mind was made up.

I saw roofer1976's the summer before last, just after I bought mine.

There's a black one I see parked in a trailer park on my way home. I've seen some on the road here and there as well...a silver one not too long ago.

I have yet to see one that isn't stock...there's some I wish I could see live...starting with moon's.

Oh and of course Batmans but that doesnt count as one on the road haha
I've probally seen 6-8 since i got mine, Tried to run a black one on 53 north of 90 months ago, think the BAT RIDE scared him a bit. I see a 65-70 year old guy in the streamwood, bartlett, elgin area in a V-red one, I've been next to him at a light 3 or 4 times , And he never looks over, He just gets to see the back of the BAT RIDE for a second or two. Not sure he knows he has an SS.
And the 6-8 i've seen, dos'nt include BartSS, as i can't count SS' that have been in my driveway .

Corey maybe we will eventually see each other, if not driving at one of the meets.
Hey Sunflower, you may see a black SS w/ NY tags in the Pottstown area when the weather gets better. We frequent Trilogy BMX which is located in Memorial Park in Pottstown, because my daughter does BMX bike racing at the track there. We usually come for the big races (National races, State races, etc). The SS is a good race support vehicle for this sport, because it is roomy for the bike/gear/tools, the interior resists mud very well and the kids think it's "cool" (as per my daughter).

Isn't that the street that the Ice House Restaurant is on? We sometimes take the kids there after the races... But we leave the SS at the park and walk.

yup that is the street icehouse is on. lol And yeah during events at the park walking is normally much quicker, plus you don't loose your parking space.

Finally saw one!

I never, never see any SS' around my region and very few HHRs for that matter.

I was on I-87 (NY Thruway) in New York State heading northbound this afternoon (Fri, Jan 28th) at about 4PM and just south of Exit 16 I saw a silver SS in my RR mirror (Man, that airdam for the intercooler looks killer in live form). I was hoping that it would catch up to me so I could give the driver a thumbs up, but it exited at 16 toward the Catskills. I was driving my wife's Olds Bravada, so the driver wouldn't have any interest in catching up with me. Maybe if I was in my black SS, things would be different.

Anyone here?
