New HHR SS Owner
New HHR SS Owner
4 days ago I surprised my wife with an aqua blue 2009 HHR SS. Only 20600 miles on it. Has an automatic, sunroof, nice wheels. I'm sure I'll be making some improvements on her a bit. Saw the list of what everyone else has done.
The only problem I have now is my I-phone 4S won't connect thru the usb on the radio. It connects for about 2 seconds and kicks back to radio. Anyone else have this problem?

My wife was SO surprised when I brought that home. Had to travel 80 miles to get it, but well worth it. Everyday she tells me how many looks and compliments she gets on the car.
Now it's time to give her more speed so she can eat those Mustangs and rice burners.
As far as the I-phone/radio, has anyone ever posted why this doesn't pair correctly? I've tried multiple cables/phones and still no luck. Has GM ever put out a TSB on this?

iPhone
My radio occasionally doesn't recognize my iPhone. It is usually because ther is an app running in the background. Shut down your phone, repower and plug and play.
I also have an Aqua Blue Metallic 09 with all of the options. I haven't had any problems with blowing off Mustangs, 'Vettes, and most Mopars.... if the weather is dry. There is no hook up with FWD on damp or, (horrors) wet pavement.
I don't know what you are driving, but I would either trade cars with your wife, or look for another HHR SS or a Cobalt SS.

My full time ride is a 09 Chevy Avalanche. I absolutely love it! Both vehicles look great in the driveway. Me not driving the HHR alot will only help it to last longer. I used to have a 04 Caddy SRX and I drove the crap out of it, what a fast car with a smooth ride, but my driving style made her wear faster than normal. I would like my present vehicles to last a while.
