Smile New to the site!! I have a 2009 HHR SS panel

Found out about this site and thought I would join, I have owned quite a few HHRs but I did keep on I ordered new in 2009. I wanted to replace my shop truck with this HHR but after taking delivery the general manger called and asked what Im I doing with it? I asked why and he said it still showing in inventory and he a buyers in Japan for it, and If care to sell it I would end up making money on it, I have bought cars form him for 30 years at this point and told him I keeping and decided not to use it as a shop truck. I still have today with about 12,500 miles on it, I have every piece of paper on it from the dealer and window sticker. Never in snow or rain, barely have driven it over all these year. I guess there is not a lot of these around and no one knows what it is My daily driver is a 2011 HHR just a base model with a zillion miles on it. THANKS for letting me join the group!!!
Here is how I ordered it
2009 Panel van
SS package
5 speed manual transmission
Performance package
Power sunroof
Reconfigurable performance display
High performance audio
Double smoke accent stripe
Rear bumper protector
Ashtray and lighter (Non smoker)
then I had the selling dealer install GM performance parts Turbo upgrade kit

Welcome to the site.

Nice car and a rare one. Only year for the SS panel. With the way you have it equipped it’s probably 1 of about 20. Very rare indeed.

Welcome! You'll enjoy it here. Pretty civil discussion, nonsense advice gets questioned, plenty of activity, huge well-organized archive. Overall outstanding as car enthusiast forums go.

I don't imaging you'll have a lot of problems to address with your low mileage, but age alone can take its toll on some of the fluids, parts and systems. It's probably over 14 years old now, right?

That's one pretty car. My non-panel SS is a 2010, same color except black seats, otherwise identical specs. Except no front plate bracket, lol. No longer required in Ohio, and the car came from Arizona.

How do you resist driving it every day? It's such a blast. Can't wait for a good hard spring rain to wash the salt off the roads so I can take it out of its Winter cave and dust it off.
