For us up north and crossing of a second border (not sure how long that takes), it can be as long as 4 weeks or as short as 3. I was told the difference is pending the train availability as it rolls off the line. If a train is there and it's is almost full - 3 weeks, but if it has to wait on a train to come and fill up - 4 weeks. Dealer information, so it could be a load of crap.

'09 SS build week was 9/29/08 and it was delivered 10/20/08. so figure a full three weeks to the chicagoland area.

Well, make that three.. Curious though, are there Cobalt SS's out there with the RPD at dealers? If so, they have the same motor/tranny so WTF?
according to my local Mr. Goodwrench, the HHRs are not the same as the cobalts. i'm not sure what the difference is.

only three of us are waiting on the UAF with the MM5. these will be some rare birds indeed.

Wonder if all the work is being done in the Computer (ECM?) and just data being transmitted through a LANbus?

Tingle49 - did they say why almost 2 months to test? I hope it's not when they get one from the supplier.

I know that awhile back, my dealer was telling me that for Southern California the delivery time is about 10-15 days. That is once the shipping date is set.
I think they disassemble them and bring them in through the drug tunnels under the border. Then they reassemble them and give them fake green cards.
Just kidding, don't want to step on anybody's toes in here.

Brian Brown replied to the suppier issue with this "It's a calibration issue." than later said this "This problem could go on for some time." I asked when the testing will be done ...Looks like late November so that is where it stands with my sorce... I think I will be lucky if it is under the tree in Dec...
