Once I changed my order to delete the RPD, it was built @ 2 weeks later and then another 2 weeks to deliver. But, since I made the order back in June, the overall price jumped up @ $2500. Changed order 5 Oct., built on 21 Oct. and picked it up 5 Nov. So I lost out on 0% financing and employee pricing. I don't regret one bit canceling that RPD. At least I am now driving my ride and not still waiting for the next delay in production. Now GM has other problems that could cause more delays.

Chatted with the dealer yesterday and he has not heard about a build date yet....bummer!! He wants me to keep the HHR that I am trading in under 30,00 miles but that is going to be very hard to do.

Sounds like a "veiled threat" that he will give you less if you go over the 30k mileage mark? Maybe you could respond by telling him to knock-off a certain amount of $$ for every day yours is delayed--to work things out evenly??

Good luck--I feel very fortunate that I got mine so easily....

Sounds like he just wants some factory warranty left

Same here....as of yesterday I have no build date yet. I was hoping for a delivery before year-end (to capture the current $1k rebate and to stay ahead of a possible sales tax increase by the monkeys in Sacto.) but that may be in doubt now unless something happens quick.

Update: my AQUA BLUE is at the dealer, I will be calling tomorrow to figure when I can pick it up!! Nice Christmas present!! I did a Chevy site search and found one in PA - told the dealer to get it!!! He also told me that he had no idea of when the one I ordered would be built (if at all).

are you cancelling your order and taking the one that's already built?

I am, I don't know if the dealer will still keep the order but they let me transfer the money I put down on it to the one I found.
