P0101

I have a 2010 hhr ss with a 5 speed. I was into the throttle good in 2nd gear boost max is 23 psi. (Because it's tuned)Never hit 6k rpm because my shift light didn't come on. Now car gets p0101 and has no power and only gets 3 psi boost. Air/fuel reading is erratic on my RPD. I replaced the mass airflow sensor, and the map and tmap sensors but no help. I retuned for the 3 bar sensors because I already had them. No other codes but when I clear the code it comes back. I returned my tune to stock and then put the Trifecta tune back in for the 3 bar sensors. Wiring looks good to the sensors. Don't see any problems with the turbo piping. What else can I look at?

Could be an air leak, cracked charge pipe , loose clamps

My P0101 was fixed with a new air filter.

I have good voltages on the mass airflow sensor connector also. I'll try the filter but the explanation of a charge pipe problem may be it. I looked them over but didn't see anything. I'll look again.

Look for cracks along the plastic mold lines

Even a pending status was limiting the turbo. It was extremely annoying. I also was looking at the lower TMAP. But I saw a code website(don't remember which one) that suggested the air filter as a possible cause. Put a new one in, the problem has never returned.

Went over all of the piping from the air filter to the manifold, no cracks holes or loose clamps. While air filter was out I started it up and put my hand over the opening and didn't hear any leaks and it did kill the motor. I did find the hose behind the mass airflow sensor off and hooked it up and now it's drivable without bucking but still no boost. What about a blow off valve stuck open? Is this a possibility?

That hose is the fresh air inlet to the lower crankcase for the PCV system. It is metered air, and if you run the engine with the hose disconnected, it is a vacuum leak, but not a boost leak.

I have an aftermarket shift light that hooks up to the obd2.
