for the people who work at the dealers, does the HHR parts book for 08 contain the parts for the SS, or does the SS have its own section?
is there anyway to get a copy of the parts book and what would the cost be?
I also need the part # for the SS emblem for the front door....

Everything is done by pc now so their are no books. They just type in the last eight of the VIN and ask for the part. It gives you the correct part number, not always but usually. If there is a book it would be made by HELM incorporated.

I'll get you the part number tomorrow on the SS.

 

I remember on the '03 SSR, there was someone on ebay that copied about 8 to 10 pages of all of the parts w/illustrations and sold them for a few $$$

Is there a disc with the parts listed?

SS door emblem (plate) part number is 15211285

 

Also note that the SS emblems on the doors and rear hatch are different size.....I have the part # for the turbocharged emblem....I have one under the SS emblems on the doors... looks great.....They should have been there to start with....WW BTW: It's to bad we don't have a GM Parts Mgr. in here like we do in the SSR forum.......SSR parts at cost +10%....it sure helps out...In fact we have 2 in there.......ww
