Seeing we are talking about the different seats, my 10/08 build SS does not have the perfromance seat. The one I drove initially did and may explain why that was more comfortable. Does anyone have the part numbers to convert my seat to the performance seat. All black interior. Or does someone have the parts? All help welcome!

 

This link should have what you are looking for, although it addresses converting the passenger seat. Now that they have a passenger performance seat as an option the part numbers would be different for that, but you are talking about the driver seat, so should be good.
