Maybe you can use some duct tape and some pvc pipe to fix it

Seriously, if you spend $300+ on springs they should be right so I'm sure Pedders will take care of the problem. I have a little noise with my Canucks but it's not bad.

You can try leaving a message for him at Pedders USA or do like I did and go to the Pedders USA forum, sign up and instant message him. He is a very busy guy so it might take him a while to reply, but he will.

Since it drops the car about 1-1.5 inches, has anyone looked to see if the stop plates are still parallel to each other? This could be the issue... Makes me just want to take a torch to the stockers.(Old school--place blocks at desired end height and just heat the coils) Or cut a revolution out, and grind flat?

I heard the fix for this was rubber cups... what do you do when these wear out? metal/rubber/metal + lots of movement = metal on metal.

I know the stockers have a cork donut... dam things fall out every time I jack the car up, and they have not aged well. Now that our cars are hitting the half way point in their designed lifespan, I would guess, more and more tiresome little noises will appear. I'm just glad its not like the eighties 'Vette's, the ones with the exposed allen bolts everywhere. The dam interiors would just about fall apart whie going over a speed bump. You worried if it didn't make noise. 300ZX same way. It really sucked to have put loc-tite on all the easy stuff only to have something rattle loose behind it.
