Radio-6 CD Changer

I'm about given up on my radio/6 CD changer. Sometimes it'll work flawlessly for hours, then suddenly give me an error like no aux input. Sometime after being off for some time, when I turn it on I'll get the same type error. Does anyone have an idea as to the culprit? The only 'major' stereo shop nearby won't/can't work on it and wants over $900 for a replacement radio system.

Sometimes it'll play fine until I hit a small bump or dip in the road, and it'll go off with the error. Sometimes it'll work fine and quit for no apparent reason. Sometimes it works fine for hours. Suggestions?

Appreciate it.

There are shops online you can send in your unit and they will fix it and ship it back to you, there are some that sell reconditioned vin matched units

The laser head in CD players needs pretty much perfect alignment. Might be easily fixed by the right person, might not.
