That would be really cool and $500 more most likely

I don't think there is any place to retract down into.

I think if you tosssed the mat the appearance would improve. And if our digital camera had been made after 2000 the pics would look better.

I dont like the placement... I think ill pass and keep searching for an 3 Pod A Pillar. I like my center compartment too. I use it. I would hate to get rid of it.

Chevy mgr, I forgot to thank you for taking and displaying the pics. I didn't mean to sound negative, just that it does look more like an afterthought than some of the other great ideas/styling Chevy put into the HHR. The gauge itself looks good, and far as the looks of the mount goes, to each their own.

Like havanetalking I too use the heck out of my center compartment and would hate to loose it, so I 'm on my quest to find that pillar mount for the Aeroforce that looks just right....

Hey, just a thought for those of you thinking about retrofitting the gauge, what if you mounted the pod on top of the center storage door? Would it be too high and hurt visibility? May look better plus keep the extra storage??

Just a though...

I'll reserve my judgment on how it looks until we can see a better picture of it from the drivers perspective or at least of the full dash. It is hard to tell since the pictures just show the display itself. Maybe it isn't so bad when you are sitting in front of it.
