Replaced stock boost gauge with the Aeroforce unit
Having a Canadian vehicle, with boost gauge units in cryptic metric units (kPa)... I was longing for a "regular" boost gauge.
Instead of ordering the factory imperial unit gauge, I decided to get one of the Aeroforce Interceptor units as some others here have.
Gauge fits well in the stock a-pillar location. The Aeroforce gauge housing is not as deep as the stock unit though, so the oem attachment/securing locations molded into the backside of the a-pillar garnish can't be used.
Fortunately, Aeroforce supplies a universal bracket of sorts... with a bit of jury-rigging, it works just fine in the stock location. There's no need to modify the a-pillar garnish in any way - you just need to modify the universal bracket a bit.
Mine (as pictured) has a silver bezel, silver gauge face and red lettering. This combo looks great with my red/black interior.
For those interested in ordering one of these, the p/n is CNx01 for the newer GM vehicles.

Looks great, this is just what I've been looking for. I can display yhe boost and coolant temp at the same time.
Did you have to buy anything extra to install with it (wiring, sensors, etc)?
How hard was it to wire?

No need to buy anything extra. The gauge comes with:
- the gauge itself
- a universal mounting bracket (which you will probably need to modify a bit)
- wire with OBDII connector (gauge connects to the diagnostic port)
Don't even need to run power/ground to the gauge... it's powered entirely from the diagnostic connector.
You need to run the wire UP to the gauge area, starting from the bottom by the diagnostic port... the OBDII plug is too big to fish DOWN. The wire fits nicely along the a-pillar/hinge pillar area, between the end of the instrument panel.
To make the fishing a bit easier, remove the plastic trim panel under the steering column... just two hex-head fasteners down at the bottom. Top portion of the trim panel snaps in place (just pull it away/out). Once that's removed, there's a plastic brace that also comes out easily... 4 hex-head fasteners. With these two items out of the way, fishing the wire is much easier.
I wrapped a couple of layers of electrical tape around the new gauge housing itself, since it was a bit loose in the stock cutout location in the a-pillar... one or two layers of tape helped to snug it up in the opening a little better.

You can select from 3 different levels of brightness from the setup menu. It's also possible to invert the background and font/number colors as needed, for daytime or night viewing.
Yes, it is a bit expensive. Considering the number of parameters it can view though, and the fact that you can view and clear DTC codes, datalog etc... I think it's a fair price.
