I will post some pictures soon for others considering this mod.

Question for the group - other than the boost reading, what other variables do you find handy to display?

I have also set the lights to come on at +20lbs. Any other ideas on what works best?
Just depends on what you want.

I use the MPH a lot since the speedo is crappy in the SS. I often find I am over the limit and do not notice. I also am used to HUD displays so this is kind of my add on display.

The shift light is handy for many. Also THe other readings are good for if you are tunning or making changes to the vehicle.

The 1/4 mile and 0-60 feature also is nice. While it may very a little from the track time it will give you base lines for changes.

I usually display boost + knock retard.

Tried to explain knock retard to my wife... it didn't go too well. Yes dear, my gauge displays retardation.

^^ I will stick with Boost and HP for now. I would probably use MPH but being Canadian, well....

I have also posted some pictures of the install for anyone who may need them.

A few weeks with the gauge and I'm very happy with hit. Its a perfect mod for those of you who like to know what's going on with your SS. Tons of info.

I was also able to clear a few codes with it, which is also pretty cool.

I like the Aeroforce gauge too. Mine is set for Boost and RPM.

Annunciator is set at 20lbs of boost. When the gauge's two LED's are lit... I know i'm in business.

A question for you guys who have done the install (know the product) - I'm guessing that the port the unit plugs into is the same port the existing Boast gauges uses?

But on the chance that this assumption is incorrect, if a person could physically accommodate two ADDITIONAL gauges could you connect two Aeroforce units and keep the original boast gauge? If not, can you connect just one Aeroforce and also keep the original boast gauge?

The Aeroforce plugs into the "Diagnostic Port" so it does not affect use of the boost guage connection. Aeroforce units can be daisy-chained together (go to their website for how-to).

Looking at the site looks like they have a new face option, one with the SS logo. Looks good and only $10.

Crap! That SS logo looks sweet - I missed it by a few weeks! I guess I will have to live with the SS LED graphic.
