Depends on the size of your inter cooler pipes and inlet and outlet port tubes are they bigger than stock? Then yes silicone couplers would be in order.

You didn't tell what brand of intercooler, so it's hard to give an opinion.
If it was my car, I would ask the intercooler company what they recommend.

it's zzp intercooler its coming by ups on friday. so not sure how big the inlet pipe is going to be?
If they fit and i make sure there nice and tight i think that will work right?
they recomended to get the silicone couplers, but for a $ 100 bucks is silicone really that much better. I know the sicone engine mount is definatly the way to go! but silicone house versus rubber hose?
Thanks for your reply guys :)

Go to NAPA or any heavy duty truck supplier. They sell silicone pipe by the foot, maybe inch.

When I installed mine, there were some that had different sizes on each end. Stepped up or down. I did however get a kit from Hahn that included pipes cooler and connectors. I do think if you are running the stock stuff, the plastic pipe blows out before the hase does. (Mine did)
