It is an ECU programmer loaded with a performance tune from BSR. It is good for 40+ hp with the tune alone. The company is Hahn RaceCraft. It is pricey at $995, but in my opinion it is not bad for 40HP. Price per HP is pretty low.

Sorry if this comes off as stupid, I'm new to all this - you buy the tune through the site, and they send you everything you need to do it including the tools/hardware to link up to the car's computer and upload the tune? I have an auto so since it's in the works, I'd have to wait a bit...but definitely sounds like something I could drop a grand on.

It comes as a "plug-andplay" system. You get a hand held device which has the software loaded on it. The device plugs into the diagnostic port which is under the steering wheel. From there you basically follow the on-screen prompts and that is all. It is very simple to do and takes maybe 15 minutes. Included in the price are software updates via the internet.

Unfortunately it is not available for the auto as of yet, but it should be ready fairly soon. At least that will give you time to start saving
