Cool Sold the SS last week...

Sad to see her go, but I finally sold my ride last week. Didn't get what I had hoped, but not too far off. Just dissapointed at how much this car lost in value in 4 years, especially with all the additions I had on her and being in excellent shape. I totalled it up the other day and it came to about $2K of mods...

The new owner was certainly excited to pick it up as he wanted to find a car that he could take out for a few "track days" per year. i certainly think this car is worthy! So fun to wind it up and make a run down some rural twisty roads... It handled like a dream! Those Nitto tires I had added were fantastic!

Been nice socializing and posting on this board and will certainly try to stay in touch here. Now starts the search for a mid size SUV. Need a nice tow vehicle!

Wow I kept mine cause I thought dealer was cheating me. 08 with 48k. Dealer offered me 15,250$...
Maybe I should take them up on it....

I ended up getting $13,800 for it... I had a couple trade-in offers for $13k and both times the vehicle I wanted to purchase was gone by the time they finally got up to that number!

If I would have traded in I probably would have held some of the stuff back, but I wouldn't do that with this private party purchase.

Wouldn't your "98 Chevy Tahoe 4X4 LT" be a good tow vehicle?

Actually, the "Black Hoe" has been a great tow vehicle from one end of the States to the other! She is getting pretty old and tired though. I have it torn down in the garage now with the dreaded intake manifold gasket failure! Front diferential seals leaking bad now also. I need something more reliable with beter MPG...
