Question Squeeeaaaky Brembos

After 2500 miles my Brembo brakes squeal like crazy, don't suppose anyone knows any secrets to quiet them? Might be hard to find replacements in the quiet type also, guess the noise and dust go with great stopping.

Do they squeal all the time, when they are cold, or when they are warm/hot?

All brakes squeal, most we cannot hear, but they all do it. Some more than others. I don't know much about the stock Brembos. Maybe others with them will chime in.

Most squeaking is caused by the vibration of the pad. There is a product called Permatex Brake Quiet that you apply to the pads that will reduce the noise level.

yeah what he said...It's a grease type paste you put on the back side of the pads....or aerosol or powder similar to these...

Mine squeal a little bit, on the easy stops, as well.

Mine don't make any noise. When I installed them, I applied the ant-squeal compound that was included with the factory pads in a very thin layer between pad backing plate and the stainless steel anti-squeal shim that clips on. I would suggest you pull out the pads (you don't need to remove the calipers, just tap the 2 pins out) so it is very quick), and check them. I am betting there was no compound applied on assembly.
