How well is this going to hold up on the stock transmission? The torque rating is around 220 and from the dyno sheet on hahn's website there is 246 ft/lbs to the wheels so it is probably safe to assume there is over 260 ft/lbs at the crank.
I think I will wait and see what GM will offer if there stage kit is ever released.

If the reasoning behind the lower HP output in the auto is that the tranny can't handle the power, wouldn't this cause problems?
I'm guessing this wrecks the warranty? I see that there's a "return to stock" feature, but I'm also guessing that any techs working on the car would know its been tuned? Or not?

The lower power in the auto is because the 4t45 is only rated at 221 ft/lbs of torque to the input shaft and this tune will significantly increase beyond 221 and probably closer to 260ft/lbs or more. Yes it will void the warranty but only if they can prove that the tune was what caused the problem. And yes the techs can tell, they have started checking for after market tunes at the dealerships. And they can supposedly see the last ten flashes to the computer.

I wonfer how the wife will feel about this?
GM should have allowed all this stuff dispite the warranty(lol)
