You don't have to sit in a dodge to break something they do that fine all on their own.

Sorry for the slam but I have yet to see a chrysler product that impressed me. I have looked at dodges over the years and everyone of them seemed to be cheaply made and generic. Also everyone I have ever known has had nothing but trouble with theirs.

Then u simply have not driven the right models and are subjecting yourself to brand bias

My last 2 chrysler products were the jeep srt8 and 03 viper

the jeep srt8 is simply light years ahead of the tbss... in fact it is the fastest production suv 0-60 out there... if u change out the run flats and do one cheap mod of upgrading the sway bar links it is also the best handling suv out there and i have owned bmw x5 4.8 and have driven the cayenne turbo... i put 30k on the srt8 before i sold it and it performed flawlessly.. i do admit the dash was plastic but my 06 only cost me 40k loaded..

My o3 viper was also built to last....in fact u can mod those generation 3 vipers over 800hp with little concern for the drivetrain... my new generation 4 viper is in a league by itself .. it outperforms the zo6 in every category except
depreciation... the acr option viper just dominated 12 track events at one lap of america including beating the new nissan gtr by over 35 seconds at each event.. that is a monster time difference

i think gm and chrylser both offer great products and it is a shame most of us have to pick one side instead of supporting both.... all models have some problems .. in fact if u look at this hhr ss section you will see a 4 page thread titled "things you don't like about your hhr ss"

here is my now sold 06 srt8 and 03 srt10

Ok I will give you that. Probably because I or no one I really know can afford a car like that. But I have known many people with Caravans that hated them (because of reliability), my Best Friends wife has a Nitro that feels cheap on the inside and has already had two transmissions replaced and it is 2 years old and finally my wifes uncle had a 300 that was in the shop more than it was on the road.

I base my opinions (and they are just that) by what I have seen/experienced. GM cars have always done right by me and I like their styling and options but everytime I am in the market for a new car I try to keep an open mind and test drive and research the others.

Yeah, but the TBSS would pull a trailer, and was easily capable of another 100 hp over stock. Seriously, the two cars in your driveway are on MY list of the 10 coolest current (or recent) production cars. Heartache to sell them I am sure. Priorities are a bear sometimes.

Chrysler has been a company in crisis, due in large part to their management but also due to quality issues w/ their mainstream vehicles. Comparing SRT's to mainstream stock is not a valid measure of quality because SRT's are special team built and value-added over and above the straight production line bulk vehicles. Daimler-Benz got out while the gettin' was good, lol.
