SS Side Skirt

I recently read the standard model HHR running boards are available prepainted, are the SS side skirts also available prepainted from GM?

I believe they were at one time. But, since the HHR SS was last made in 2010, they may not be available anymore.

I wasn't aware the are not a step, until reading through some threads. It's going to be on my "I want" list now!

Yeah. Even if they were strong enough to be steps, you wouldn't want to use them for that. The angle that the skirts slope down....well, let's just say there would be a lot of slipping and scratches if they were used that way.

When I 1st got my SS, I literally had to train myself to step "out" and away from the skirt when exiting the car.

Checked the old Google and found bodykits.com has SS skirt kits for about $180.00 , you'll have to contact them to confirm if they come painted or not
