The SS is Sold!!!

My 2008 SS has been sold, it would have been 4 years old this April 1st. Just turned 96,000 miles, I really enjoyed the SS and the forum, alot of good reads and info.
I still have the Covercraft Car Cover, which I will list in the classified section for sale.
Thanks to all, its been real..................................Tom

Another HHR gone from the family, but you don't have to go away Tom, keep in touch OK.

I will, I just have had the urge for the last year to get back into a C3 as my DD, and that will happen this weekend......

Enjoy the new ride. You will be missed. Hopefully the next owner will show up here.

SS at 100K

This is why I didn't buy the SS. With the addition of the expensive turbo, the appeal of the vehicle (and its resale value) seems to drop like a stone when the power train warranty expires. I plan to run my 2LT for 200K or more, and just turned 93K with fewer recent problems than I had when I first bought it.

If I didn't have the bug for the C3, I would have kept the SS. It still looks like new and runs great. Yes it is a shame about the resale, but most of the market has been soft for quite some time. It took 1 year for me to "sell, trade" the HHR and get the C3. There are alot of vehicles out there that have been listed for months or as long as mine was, so there is a lot to pick from.

BTW, I will also list in the classified section, the Aeroforce gauge that I had in the SS. It has a Blue background. Will post the thread and pics tomorrow.
Thanks....................................Tom

Hello Everyone!!!!!

Just stopped by to say hello and see how everyone is doing.....seems like there are still issues with some of the LNF's and yet some are getting excellent tunes and they are running just fine.
I do miss the SS at times and do "stare" at them on the road.... when I see them, but then I do that for the SSR that I had and alot of other hot vehicles out there. Would have liked to have kept them all.
I am enjoying the 82 C3 as my dd and it has been keeping me busy to say the least. Even though it is a 30 year old Vette, I really enjoy driving it everyday....
I have found a few items that may be of interest, for sale. I have posted in the "Classified Section"
Here is one of them: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...256#post660256

Wishing everyone the best, will have to catch up on more reading in the forum, always great to pick up new info...........later......Tom
