funny there's a polarity of do and don't or will and won't.
Why is there such resistance from some dealers?

I think they are scared of messing it up, probably affects them in some way of getting paid by the dealer for the warranty if something goes wrong b/c of their mistake.

From what I gathered from the service manager where I bought it[that almost soiled hiself big time] he has to clear all his warranty work though another GM rep. or his gets it in the shorts, if they don't o.k. it. It was obivious he did'nt have a clue about the stage 1 kit, and sure did'nt want to mess with it.
Me thinks he also was more than a little afraid of his job also.
I'll keep checking around Nor-Cal. as to who will and who won't, and get the best price I can. Maybe buy the kit one place and have it installed in another.
Thanks for all the input from you guys. I feel better now.
Thanks "Moon"

I have an 09 black SS,auto and my dealer did mine in May. I was the first one they did and still did. I also worked there for many years so the tech did a free install for me,but it did take him awhile. No problems yet but the tranny does slip everyonce in awhile in Comp mode....but the dealer says it's normal....???Keep shopping around....looks like a lot of dealers charge different pricing.

the lower sensor is a biotch.

my tech mostly works on vettes, you know how cramped those are, and he was cussing up a storm.

he didnt remove the pipes, he said the lower sensor is only a couple inches from the a/c unit, too much gittin on it may smash it.

he said the lower sensor should have been designed like the one that was in there.

personally I haven't seen it, as I couldnt go in the bay.

Plus they're replacing your 3 wire sensors with 4 wire sensors by CUTTING your harness and hopefully rewiring properly, and butt splicing it back together.
