Thank Goodness for the remote start. I use it as I am walking towards the car so by the time I get in it is ready to go.
I think you will find the limited parts and also they will watch to see if the ones that are fixed remain working properly.

I went throught this on this on the Grand Prix.

The next step will be to start getting the parts in stock and then issuing a TSB to fix any complaints.

This could take a month or two more. But the good news is that they look to have a fix and no one should have anymore issues with this.

I went though all this just for a metal bracket for a headlight on the GP. It took over a year just for it to get fixed. Once that happened it also showed up on the new cars being built too. We may see this vacuume pump on all new 09's in the future.

Thank you ChevyMgr. I thought about calling TAC back and pushing for a kit, but then I thought to myself. How selfish am I? I am fully aware of my vehicle and how it operates and it's issues. And being a GM certified master technician, and all the road testing experience, and all the vehicles I've worked on that have a "severe" brake issue, I think I'll let some of the other people on the forum to get their kits first. After reading now 2 threads pertaining to this issue, I've come to the conclusion that there are more needy people out there. Just my personal opinion. You guys can thank me when "GM" gives you your brakes you bought

Well, of course mine has this issue too... I experienced it for the first time this morning, but it goes away quickly on startup. I guess I'll take it in once the official bulletin is released.
