Steering shaft

I cannot find a steering shaft for my SS. Everywhere is discontinued, no chevy dealerships can help me with this problem.

The SS intermediate steering shaft is available, it’s the same as the LS and 1LT and LT

You can order one at RockAuto or google the GM part number

Rockauto doesn't show that part number for the SS. Are they all interchangeable?

EDIT: I see in another thread that you said they are.

The GM parts direct photo confirms interchangeable between models and it fits the SS

Just out of curiosity, why are you changing it?

And you’ve pin pointed that noise to the intermediate shaft? Not the input shaft to the steering rack? Or lower control arms rear bushings?
is the clack just while you’re stopped and you turn the steering wheel or even when you are driving.
that clack noise sound like it is inside the car down under the instrument cluster! Or out in the engine bay in front of your feet on the other side of the firewall ?

The control arm and bushings are new, and yes I hear that noise while driving, turning, and backing up.
