The RPM's hung at around 4100 but w/ the stage kit I think that may be too high as I've never been able to not spin the tires through 1st, even at the track.

Man, holding the thing in gear at 4200 stopped makes me SHIVER! I can't imagine what that is doing to the torque converter, but, hey, it's an approved feature of the car and, therefore, should be covered under warranty.

You need a set of BFG Drag Radials for the track, LOL. That should help it hook up. I plan to get a pair on a pair of steelies just for the track.

At the track, do you use the water burn-out box for street tires? I haven't drag raced in years, but Back In The Day it wasn't a good idea as it overheated the street tires and made them stick less.

If I decide to put this sucker on the track and manage to break something, my wife is going to KILL ME!!!

^Agreed on the stickier tires! I even tried w/ everything off (hold the trac button for 10 seconds until "ESC OFF" is displayed) and got the same results. The next time I run at the track I'll play with launch styles like revving to 2800 or 3200 rpm to reduce the wheelspin. I dropped a full second off my times the night I raced and that was still feathering the throttle while spinning through 1st and 2nd.... I'm sure I can pull off a hi 13 second run with the right tires and reducing wheelspin.

Read the manual. :) Hold throttle to the floor, keep it pressed between shifts. I suggest not using it on 1-2.

Ok read the manual? I didn't see a technical explanation for how it all works in there? No lift is nothing new to me, if I was racing why would I lift??
Sounds like a cool feature was looking for a better explanation as to how it works and is different then any other standard tranny??

Oh sorry forgot about launch control, hit the esc button twice for competition mode, at a stop it will be launch control. I dont like it. Makes the tires spin more and go slower.

How how has the stage I upgrade been working for you?

I noticed you had the Stage 1 upgrade done. Have you had any issues since the upgrade? I have a 5 speed but I have been hesitant to have it done becuase of all the problem that people are having.

That is encouraging!

I am in Jersey as well and keep pondering the stage I conversion. Was looking for dealer recommendations but because I heard some people did not have theirs properly installed.

Thanks!
