For those with CIA Intercooler Piping
For those with CIA Intercooler Piping
Purchased intercooler piping from CIA today. Spoke with Dan and he was very helpful and great to talk with. He told me that they have installed IC piping on two HHR SS in their shop and sold a few other sets. Apparently one of the cars they installed the piping on required a completely different lower hot side pipe compared to that of any Cobalt SS/TC or the other HHR SS. Dan also said that they have not had any problems with any of the IC piping they have shipped out. The HHR that required a completely different lower hot side pipe was a 5 speed Panel SS as he recalled.
Any idea as to what this could be all about? Both installs performed in their shop were on 2009 model year vehicles. Dan had no knowledge of a mid year model change or alteration that would have an effect on the piping. Other companies that make IC piping for the HHR SS only sell one style pipe and I have never read of anyone having a problem in this area.

Rainman, your Panel SS looks awesome! And Mike Lavallee flames...... Wow! Probably the best in the country at what he does. Ridler quality type work.
Happy to hear you had no install problems. Our built dates are almost seven months apart. Hope there wasn't some sort of mid model year change.
