My '08 SS caught a nail in the left front tire about 4 weeks ago, it was dead center of the tread; I had local tire shop dismount the tire and plug/patch the hole from the inside. the TPMS warned me of the low tire in time to save it and all was fine for about 2 weeks. now I get an intermittant false warning from the same tire; it lasts about a day or two. I'ved checked pressures with two gauges and they are correct as posted on door frame. Anyone out there with similar experience??

 

I had a nail in one of my tires and it was patched also, later that day a warning for that tire went off but nothing was wrong, when I stopped and turned off the car and later restarted it the warning was gone and it has not returned returned ??? it acted like it lost signal.

 

Might try just relearning the system and see if that works. I just had mine patched but every thing still seems good for now.
