Upgrade from 1LT to an SS !
Upgrade from 1LT to an SS !
So today I pulled the trigger, and bought a 2010 HHR SS. Black on Black, auto trans, remote start, sunroof, Pioneer system with woofer, and CLEAN!

It's a bittersweet day, as I will be selling my 2009 1LT. Almost 5 years with it, tons of upgrades, and it was Co-Featured for June 2015. It just turned 118,000 miles today, and is time for someone else to treat it as good if not better than I did.
Looking to pull the IPCW taillights, depot headlights, and all weather HHR mats from my 1LT and put them in the new SS. Then it's time to complete the laundry list of things like install a new 7" navigation head unit with bluetooth and backup cam, tint the front windows, black out bowties and SS logos, stage 1 upgrade, trifecta tune, etc etc.
For now, I'm just gonna keep driving it and figure out its competitive and launch modes!

I wish I could OldBlue! If I get what I'm asking for my LT, the SS would only cost me a couple hundred bucks more. Game plan is to use it as an everyday driver for the next year, then get a true everyday driver (maybe the Focus RS) and turn the SS into a show car.
Thanks whopper - If it isn't Black on Black, or if it doesn't look good Black on Black, then I'll pass.
I know it sounds crazy OldBlue, especially since I own my LT. Before I found and looked at the SS, I was saving money to get the Focus RS when it comes out next spring, then turn my LT into a show car, strengthen the motor and Turbocharge it, which would have cost almost $5,000 in parts (and a lot of time!). The money I'll get for the LT will make the SS only a few hundred bucks more, which keeps me on that track to get the RS in the spring, and my SS will be paid off by then since it's almost an even swap for my LT. So I'l only have 1 car payment.
Everyday driver that has bumper to bumper coverage, over 345HP, and the SS beast free from everyday driving? Guess I'm a sucker for speed (and car payments)
