As far as doing a comparo, I've been tuned to keep my stft and ltft pretty stoich (if that's the correct term?). Since I have the K&N full intake, I already have a lovely spooling sound (neighbor's teen kid drools over the SS everytime I drive by and he's outside) and with the Forge BPV I installed, my "pshh" sounds are nice and loud, more like loud sneezes actually lol.

well there is also a piece in the box that is keeping the filter in place, i mean im not going offroading and bouncing all over the damn place. i dont think my filter is going to come out, as for dirt and what not, again. im not going offroading. i dont think there will be a problem, ill check it every once and a while for crap in it, but its still in the box so i dont think im going to have a problem, ass for the power, im not noticing any difference from a stop, or from a roll for that matter. the only difference i can tell is that is sounds so much better now!

Ok that's it. I gotta go out there and take the lid off. ChevyguySS switch to K&N filter, it has a stainless clamp, or go get one and add stainless clamp to your stocker so it can't leave ya. Got to go now

I didn't notice much difference. Did notice my K&N was dirty, and a little oily, so I put the paper one back it, so I could shampoo the K&N, and let it dry. I can,t feel any difference there either. So I think I'll run paper and throw it out when it's dirty, I'm tired of the shampoo & oil gig.

After reading all of these, I did have to go try it myself too and yes the sound factor is real cool. Not throwing any codes either, so I think I will just leave it like this for awhile.

There is no moisture wick on that.
When you blow your engine, don't ask "why?"

You should look into the Hydro Shield
