What "sold" you on a HHR SS ?

I didn't even get a chance to drive one first ! Did drive a 2 year old LT and figured the SS had to be even better !! Has anyone else noticed that it's like driving an old coupe or street rod or am I the only one old enough to remember !I don't think these things are just another petty face ! I actually think they grow on you a little more each day the longer you own one!--o6designs-KATZUP

I test drove a 2.2, then a 2.4L, liked em both, test drove an SS, loved it. Also loved the practicality of a hatch/wagon and I've only owned American cars, plus the 0% financing.

Price of gas, lease expiring on my daily driver, and no new Camaro in site yet. The little HHR will be a great daily driver for years to come, and I can wait until they work the bugs out of the convertible Z-28 now.

In no particular order:

* Sporty looks
* Utility (I can haul stuff)
* Four doors
* Fuel economy
* Neat wheels
* Cool interior
* Fun to drive

what else . . . and I still don't have mine YET . . . come on tomorrow!

My wife and I bought our 2006 in September 2005... no test drive, nothing but seeing it for the first time in the dealer showroom. How's that for trust in a vehicle? Not one incling of a problem sofar.

0% financing and realizing it would end up being cheaper over the life of the loan than the 2LT I was driving.

The test drive.

Did I say the test drive? Drove the SS first, and never drove another.

Plus, my truck was costing a fortune in gas, at 207K miles, it's getting iffy.

So, saving about $200/month in gas now. Not spending $120/month for cigarettes anymore. Got a nice raise... New SS!

I like to drive vehicles that are different. I'd say the HHR SS qualifies for many different reasons.
