Well IMO play time is at the track. I have seen too many CBR 600's and sports cars smashed up with drivers and passengers DOA. Just cause you know when it is time to play doesn't mean that others do. Funny stat too, per capita actual race car drivers are more likely to be killed on the road in a traffic accident despite their apparent skill. The reasons are b/c they push the limit that much further than the average driver and are driving in an un-controlled environment.

 

I've got to agree with Scrivs on this one. Being a ex-racer[both bike and car], lots of yawhoos out there, tend to get over their head real quick, not knowning the limits of their car, or having any track experience to maybe get their butt out of trouble, when they cross the line. I'm seen it many times over the years, and myself I try to hold it down, but at times I tend to push the envlope a little and get silly. I do it when it's fairly safe[no traffic-no cops] and plentry of room, and usually by myself when I bust it off.
Telling someone, that does'nt know any better, is'nt going to change things, and they have to find out the hard way, and hopefully not their last lesson.
Hopefully, we don't have to hear it on here, but sooner or later, someone has to pay the piper, for the dance lessons.
Just keep it down to a dull roar, and Please quit bragging about handing someone their butt, when the car they outran, was a much heavier sedan, even if it did have a v8. Pick on cars that are in your class, or take it to the track, if you want to brag. Street racing don't mean S---! "I rest my case" "moon'

I try to do the same myself... I see allot of stuff done to these HHRs that IMO is disgusting. But I just bite my tongue and move along.
