I know there must be a thread out there somewhere regarding winter tires & rims that will fit the SS - I just can't find it. We live in NW PA. and get alot of "lake effect" snow. I have on 08 SS with a 5 speed and as far as I can tell - the stock brakes. It also has ltd. slip dif. Maybe I won't need the winter tires & rims with the ltd. slip????? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks as always!!! Tom

SS tires and rims for winter are 215/60r/16 on 16 x 6.5 rims offsets are 42 mm. Original brakes will fit, but Brembos will not fit on 16 inch rim. this is a calculator. Put your original tire in first, then put in a desired tire and rim. It will let you know if it is a good fit when you scroll down. Wheel well clearance etc.
