ZZP IC ppl come in

I tried the search but didn't find my answer for sure.

Can you run the factory black bumper mesh in front a ZZP intercooler or not? I know the mesh fits infront of the Crazy Steve IC (saw a pic) but every ZZP IC i've seen ppl have taken the mesh off.

Thanks.

At risk of being wrong since I do not have one, I think people are just showing it off and the mesh fits in front just fine. (listed dimensions say yes)

Yes the mesh fits. The only part that may not line up is the plastic panel underneath the IC. I got the panel back on without hacking it up, barely. This pic shows wut I mean. Very tight fit.

Yeah I read another member posted about the lower panel not fitting very well.

I will probably get the slightly shorter one from ZZP if I go this route.

Thanks for the info guys.

Do ppl change only the Hotside pipe normally too? Factory lower piping have no issues?

Its rubber and plastic... The vac nipple can crack. Most blown ic end tanks are the cold side.... But. Big but... Don't know if its because the cold side was never changed or not.

The lower grille fits fine, I removed mine, then put it back in.

ZZP's new intercooler sits higher for increased clearance, I did minimal trimming of my shield for the big boy and painted the bottom line black to hide the corners that hung.

Awesome IC.

On mine I actually cut down the protrusions on the bottom and sides of the cover, and my grille still went back on nice and flush using the upper and lower mounting to the valance, I was impressed!
