It sounds like it is mechanical function that tursns the blinkers off whrn the steering wheel turns, not an electrical issue. I think the plastic thing that the larger plug plugs into is the problem. I had difficulty unplugging mine, it could be bent or cracked. It looks like the steering wheel comes off easy enought so I could look behind it.

Is there a different part number for the gray versus cashmere color or is it the same part # and you have to specify what color? GM parts Direct won't ship to Canada.

The 2LT is the only model that comes with them standard.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea. I thought the radio controls were standard on all models.

I just got back from Russia (business trip), and my parts were waiting. I had a little trouble getting the steering wheel cover off, after that the wiring was easy. I did remove the cruise switch cover, and did not have to cut the old harness out. I re-routed the new wiring harness like the old one.

Still waiting on my parts that were ordered 6/22/06. Hopefully they will be here some time soon. Order shows as still in process

They need to hire some people like Mike from SoCalHHR's so we get our parts quicker.

Just got an email from gmpartsdirect.com and my parts are on the way. They were shipped yesterday 7/3/06 and are scheduled to arrive FedEx on Friday. Wish me luck with this weekend installing them in the car. Any last minute tips or just go for it and hope all goes well.
