OK, i found holes in the sides before the column and 2 holes that you need to turn the steering wheel to access form the back side. I am thinking it is the side holes and you just push to release?

that's the next add-on i'm working on. Was looking at some aftermarket mirrors but have not found one I wanted yet.

Compass???? C'mon, we are MEN! We don't need no stinkin' compass, or maps, or directions.

Did anyone who's done this mod notice whether the center of the steering wheel, the part with the bowtie, comes out or if it looks like something that was stuck on the steering wheel?

I'd like to do something to change the bowtie and if the whole piece can be removed it would give me more options.

Thanks for any info on this.

So I don't jack up the hex screw - was it a metric hex driver you used?
