Pretty simple and straight forward repair. This thread is actually what brought me to the forum a couple years ago!!!!!!

Thank you so much!

I just want to thank this site and everyone who post useful information! When my engine light came on I was suggested by someone to switch out the 'camshift sensor', but I'm glad to have stumbled here and to those who said "Intake/exhaust Solenids" instead. It was my first time working on my HHR and I truly don't know if I could have done it without this guide. Again, thank you, and I hope to work on my HHR with your help in the future!

I had posted else where here on the forum for code P0010.
I was directed to this thread.

Thanks Whopper for the write up on this, and RJ_RS_SS_350 for the link.
I had the code pop just this morning. 56,600ish miles
Will be back with update. . . . . .

I don't know if this was mentioned in the previous 54 pages of posts but I was able to remove the exhaust CPASV (black top) without having to remove anything. I left it connected until I had it out to make it easier to get the connector off. Had it out and reinstalled in 15 minutes. I didn't try it but I think I could probably get the intake CPASV out too if I took the connector off first. I did blow out the pocket it sits in with 100 psi air first. I have a 2010 SS HHR.

What code? Could be the other one or something else. This is a 2.4L?
