How to install drop Springs...
I just did the rear leveling springs, and you do not have to disconnect the brake lines. But it is recommended that you remove them from the bracket that holds them in place. The extra slack is helpful in preventing them from getting damaged. The fronts are more involved, but the back took less than an hour for both sides.
Once they settle, though, you have to be careful when the car is on a lift or you jack up both sides at once. The springs are so short that they can pop out. You just need to hold them in place when you lower the car.

The one step left out here is you DO remove the brake line brackets on the rear from thier mounts just to allow plenty of length for the brake lines while the axel drops out of the way. I believe it was a 10mm bolt to remove the brackets. After the spring is installed you bolt them back on. Simple but important step.
I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to say THANK YOU for posting this! It helped me to finally get my rear Goldlines installed. (Winter wheel removal turned into a rear brake job, which then turned into a spring installation.)
