How to Paint Your Headlights

I've been wanting to pull apart mine for awile and color match the inside to the stock DBM and remove that ugly amber lens.
Those look teriffic, how did you get that color effect on the lens or that just a reflection from the new signal light?
Why did you decide to use a heat gun instead of baking them like other have done? I'm just asking so I can do it later on.

Zero fogging
I used the stuff at the top of the first page. Should be able to find it at most any auto parts store.
I'd recommend trying to get the tyc headlights though. The gm ones have a different sealant that doesn't respond as well to heat (ie, they're a ***** to get apart). I was going to paint my original headlights, but ending up cracking one. The tyc headlights are a lot easier to get apart by comparison.
Your hhr is going to look sweet with black headlights. Good luck
